Community Empowered Through UNITY--From Action to Advocacy

Welcome.  We’re excited to extend an invitation to Community Day 2023, "Community Empowered Through UNITY -- From Action to Advocacy," celebrated during Juneteenth Weekend. This event is a collaboration of diverse organizations seeking to raise awareness about services and opportunities; provide information and resources and encourage "action" among residents in the greater Frederick community. The overarching goal is to empower those attending to increase their knowledge and make informed decisions about health and wellness, education, economic development, and political awareness and involvement.

Transportation Services to Community Day:

Free or discounted transportation will be provided to Monocacy Village Park by United Way of Frederick County's Ride United transportation program. Free or discounted transportation to Monocacy Village Park is available for ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) households through our partnership with the United Way of Frederick County (UWFC).
